Home Screen

The TCG Archivist home screen provides quick access to your collection and decks through a unified interface with two main tabs: Cards and Decks.

Cards/Decks Toggle

At the top center of the screen, you'll find a toggle switch to move between:

  • Cards - Your card collection dashboard and search
  • Decks - Your deck library and deck management

Simply tap either option to switch between views.

Top Bar

The top bar includes:

  • Profile Avatar (left) - Tap to access account settings and sign out
  • Cards/Decks Toggle (center) - Switch between collection and deck views
  • Search Icon (right) - Opens the search screen

Cards Tab

The Cards tab is your collection home, showing:

Collection Overview

Collection Value Card - Displays: - Total collection value in USD - Number of unique cards owned - Value trend chart showing collection growth over time - Percentage change indicator

Recent Additions

Scrollable list of your most recently added cards, showing: - Card image - Card name - Set code and collector number - Current price

Scroll down to load more recent additions automatically.

Quick Actions

From the Cards tab you can: - View Collection - Tap to open the Collection View List showing all storage locations - Search - Tap the search icon to find specific cards - Import - Import cards from CSV or deck text - View Card Details - Tap any card in Recent Additions to see full details

Collection View List

Tap the View Collection button to access a comprehensive list of all your storage locations:

What You'll See: - Storage location name - Number of cards in each location - Total value of cards in each location

Available Actions: - Rename - Update storage location names - Delete - Remove a storage location and its cards - Export - Export cards from a specific location to CSV

This view makes it easy to manage your physical storage organization and see at a glance where your most valuable cards are stored.

Decks Tab

The Decks tab shows your deck library with:

Deck List

Each deck displays: - Deck name - Deck format (if set) - Card count (main deck + sideboard) - Color identity with mana symbols - Thumbnail image from a card in the deck

Deck Actions

  • Tap a deck - View and edit the deck
  • Create New Deck - Use the + button to build a new deck
  • Import Deck - Import a decklist from text format

Placeholder Sections

The Decks tab also includes placeholders for future features: - Deck statistics - Format legality checking - Deck recommendations

Tips

  • Quick switching: The Cards/Decks toggle makes it easy to jump between managing your collection and building decks
  • Recent Additions: Use this to quickly verify newly scanned cards were added correctly
  • Collection Value: Check the trend chart to see how your collection value changes over time
  • Search from anywhere: The search icon is always available in the top bar
