📊 Dashboard (DEPRECATED)

The Dashboard (Home screen) provides a comprehensive overview of your collection at a glance.

💰 Collection Summary

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see key metrics:

Total Collection Value

The estimated total value of all cards in your collection based on Scryfall pricing data (updated daily).

  • Value Change - Shows how much your collection value has changed since you last opened the app
  • Percentage Change - Visual indicator (green for increase, red for decrease)

Card Statistics

  • Unique Cards - Number of different cards in your collection
  • Total Cards - Total quantity including duplicates
  • Average Card Value - Mean value across your collection

Swipe through three rotating categories showcasing your collection highlights:

Most Valuable

Your top cards by market value. Tap to see the full top 10 list.

Most Common

Cards you have the most copies of. Useful for identifying trade fodder or deck-building staples.

Highest EDHREC Rank

Your most popular cards based on EDHREC ranking (lower rank number = more popular).

Tip

Tap on any card in the carousel to view it full-screen. Tap the category title or card to see the complete top 10 list.

📈 Collection Breakdown

Visual charts showing your collection composition:

  • By Card Type - Creatures, Instants, Sorceries, etc.
  • By Rarity - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythic
  • By Color - White, Blue, Black, Red, Green, Colorless, Multicolor
  • By Set - Distribution across different sets

Quick Actions

Access common tasks directly from the dashboard:

  • Sync Database - Update card prices and information
  • View Achievements - Check your progress and unlock new achievements
  • Account Settings - Manage your profile and subscription

Refreshing Data

The dashboard automatically refreshes when: - You return to the Home tab - You add or remove cards - You complete batch processing

To manually refresh, simply tap the Home button in the bottom navigation while already on the Home screen.

🔄 Database Updates

When new cards are available in the database, you'll see a notification:

  1. A dialog will appear showing how many new cards are available
  2. Tap Sync now to update your local database
  3. Or tap Later to postpone the update

Regular updates ensure you have the latest: - New Magic: The Gathering card releases (including prerelease) - Updated pricing information from Scryfall (daily) - Card image improvements - Set information
